Level 85 Snowsoul Weapons — Deluzhnoa's and Giant Cordy's vs the level 80 tier
All 10 weapon classes, item by item: the new 'Snowsoul' line (fixed level 85) next to the Ascension/Enraged predecessor (level 80) — damage, stats, and what actually changes on the item skill.

Quick summary — 5 key points
Tap each sealAll 10 weapon classes compared
Every level 85 Snowsoul weapon side by side with its level 80 predecessor (Ascension or Enraged), full stats
Not just +5 stat points
Sword and Shield swaps its entire skill — from an AoE slow to piercing, pulling chains — and Staff keeps the Burning effect that Ascension used to drop when converting to Ice Rain
Every Snowsoul weapon adds something extra
The other 8 pairs always get one line the level 80 version lacks — Hit Chance, Damage Reduction, ignoring Evasion, extra range, CC resistance, or party debuff cleanse
Where they come from
Half the weapons carry the Deluzhnoa's signature, the other half Giant Cordy's — the same two ArchBosses as always, now on the level 85 table
A straight upgrade, no catch
Across all 10 pairs the Snowsoul version beats or ties its predecessor — no case where the level 80 piece is still the better pick
What the Snowsoul line is and how to read this comparison
BuildThis Codex entry compares, class by class, the new Snowsoul weapon generation — fixed level 85, from the Deluzhnoa's and Giant Cordy's signatures — against the generation it replaces, Ascension (Giant Cordy's) or Enraged (Deluzhnoa's), level 80. Same two ArchBosses as always; what changes is the level number and, in several cases, the item skill's behavior.
The tooltips came from in-game captures, not a community spreadsheet — so names here are exactly as they appear in the client, untranslated. In one case (Deluzhnoa's Daggers, level 80) the full name didn't fit in the capture and got cut off after 'Piercing Daggers of'; the rest of the article refers to that item by its partial name only.

Greatsword — Giant Cordy's (1)
BuildThe Snowsoul Greatsword (231~427 damage, Hit Chance 210, Collision Chance 262) beats the Ascension Greatsword (222~411, Hit Chance 185, Collision Chance 231) across the whole stat line. The skill difference matters more than raw damage: the Snowsoul version's poison cloud runs for 3s with a tick every 0.4s (144% Base Damage per tick) and ignores Defense for damage equal to 2.8% of the target's max Health in PvP — the Ascension version stretches the cloud to 4s but with a slower tick (every 0.5s, 132% per tick) and only 2% Defense-ignoring damage in PvP. Higher DPS and a nearly 40% stronger PvP finisher: Snowsoul wins on both counts that matter for a Greatsword build.

Sword and Shield — Deluzhnoa's (2)
BuildHere the change isn't just numbers. The Sword of Burning Ice (level 80) turns Controlling Rake into a 4m area that slows enemies' Movement Speed by 60% — a group-control tool. The Snowsoul Sword (level 85) rewrites the skill entirely: Controlling Rake becomes an Aimed Skill that fires 5 chains in the chosen direction, up to 3.5x normal range, piercing targets for 100% Base Damage each, with an 80% chance to apply Collision: Pull. Landing the pull also grants stacking Damage Reduction (+5 per hit, up to 10 stacks) and an 80% chance to apply Weaken (-750 All Defense for 6s) to the pulled target. It traded an AoE-and-slow tool for a piercing, ranged, single-target-control one — worth learning the new combo before switching, this isn't an automatic playstyle upgrade.

Daggers — Deluzhnoa's (3)
BuildBoth versions reduce Phantom Smokescreen's cooldown by 30%, increase its radius by 2m, and apply Petrification (Icebound) every second to anyone in range, disabled on the first hit taken — but only the Snowsoul Daggers close the description with 'increases Hit Chance for the caster within range by 250', a line the Piercing Daggers of [name cut in the source] (level 80) doesn't have. On top of the usual stat jump: 46~187 damage and Critical Hit Chance 240 versus 44~177 and 215.

Crossbow — Giant Cordy's (4)
BuildThe 25-Gale-stack explosion goes from 400% Base Damage (Ascension) to 450% (Snowsoul) — already a solid upgrade on its own. But Snowsoul adds a clause Ascension doesn't have: it reduces Merciless Barrage, Wild Barrage, and Annihilation Barrage Shot cooldown by 20%. More burst on the finisher and the barrage rotation spinning faster — a double upgrade, not a partial one.

Longbow — Deluzhnoa's (5)
BuildThe Arrow Vortex kit is nearly identical on both versions — same -30% cooldown, same Collision Push, same effect transfer to a second target, up to 6 times. But the Snowsoul Bow also ignores Evasion on the first target hit, something the Bow of Frigid Frost (level 80) doesn't do — on top of dealing more damage: 110% Base Damage to the first target and 135% to enemies within 3m, versus 100% and 120% on the level 80 version. Not whiffing the opening hit to Evasion is the difference that matters most here, not the ten percentage points.

Staff — Deluzhnoa's (6)
BuildThe single most important difference in this whole article is here. Both versions convert Hellfire Rain into Ice Rain (+50% Casting Speed, +5m range, rain count up to 18) — but the Staff of Frozen Flame (level 80) removes the Burning effect on conversion. The Snowsoul Staff (level 85) does the same conversion and keeps Burning active, stacking both elements at once. That's not a numbers difference: it's the simultaneous Fire+Ice build that only exists with the Snowsoul version. Anyone building a rotation around sustained Burning needs to know the older version zeroes that investment the moment the skill converts.

Spear — Deluzhnoa's (7)
BuildBoth versions increase Rising Slash damage by 60%, push targets during the charge (80% chance of Collision Push), and apply Weaken reducing Heavy Attack Damage Resistance by 20% for 6s when the push connects — on top of a 3s stun for anyone that collides with a wall. The Snowsoul Spear adds one more layer: whenever Collision Push is applied, there's an 80% chance to also reduce all CC Resistances by 250 for 6s. The Chilling Spear of Fro[st] (level 80)'s description doesn't list that last clause — same push-and-stun combo, without the CC weaken on top.

Orb — Giant Cordy's (8)
BuildThe Snowsoul Orb increases the Guardian Defensive Wall's range by 2m and boosts its Health by 70%; the Ascension Orb (level 80) only boosts Health, and just by 50% — no range bonus at all. Both push enemies out of range with an 80% chance, but when strengthened with 2+ Orbs the Snowsoul version also removes all negative effects from the party on top of applying Collision Immunity; Ascension only applies the immunity, no debuff cleanse. Three stacked differences, not one: range, wall Health, and the party cleanse.

Gauntlets — Deluzhnoa's (9)
BuildThe Chain Strike vortex (120% Base Damage per second for 3s) and the Bloodstorm: Blood Talon one (240% per second within 5m for 3s) are identical on both, as is the 80% chance to apply Collision: Airborne for 1.5s. The difference is one extra clause: during Collision: Airborne, the Snowsoul Gauntlets also reduce the target's total Defense by 10% — a window the Ascended Deluzhnoa's Gauntlets (level 80) don't open. Stacked with the +160% damage against monsters (present on both), that's the difference between a control combo and a control combo that also amplifies the damage that follows.

Wand — Giant Cordy's (10)
BuildThe Snowsoul Wand (119~200 damage, Cooldown Speed +12%, Shield Health +23%) and the Ascension Wand (113~190, +10.7%, +20.5%) share the same defensive base — immunity to Bind, Fear, Petrification, Silence, Sleep, and Stun for 2s when casting Invincible Wall, effect boosted by 85%. But only the Snowsoul closes the description with 'Damage Reduction +40', a line the level 80 version doesn't have. Same pattern as Daggers: looks like a pure stat swap, but Snowsoul always adds one more line.

⟡ Creator's voice“It's not the +5 on every stat that makes Snowsoul worth it — it's that across all ten pairs the level 85 version adds something the level 80 one doesn't have, from the full rework on Sword and Shield to an extra effect line on every other one of the eight remaining weapons. Worth reading chapter by chapter before spending upgrade resources, especially on Sword and Shield and on Staff.”
1-minute summary
System⟡ For those in a hurry
01:00- The Snowsoul line (fixed level 85) replaces the Ascension (Giant Cordy's) and Enraged (Deluzhnoa's) generation, level 80 — all 10 weapon classes compared, item by item.
- On Sword and Shield the item skill changes behavior entirely: from an AoE slow to piercing, pulling chains with stacking Damage Reduction.
- On Staff, Snowsoul keeps the Burning effect when converting Hellfire Rain into Ice Rain — Ascension used to drop that effect on the swap.
- Across the other 8 pairs — Greatsword, Daggers, Crossbow, Bow, Spear, Orb, Gauntlets, and Wand — Snowsoul always adds a line the level 80 version lacks: ignoring Evasion, Hit Chance, Damage Reduction, extra range, cooldown reduction, Defense drop, CC resistance, or party debuff cleanse.
- Across all 10 pairs, the level 80 piece is never still the better pick once the equivalent Snowsoul item is available.
