1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Scaryel Codex (the “Codex”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

The Codex is operated as a fan project by the @Scaryel channel and has no official affiliation with NCSoft, Amazon Games, or any publisher of Throne & Liberty.

2. Nature of the service

The Codex publishes patch analyses, guides, event coverage, and informational material derived from public sources from the game and the community.

All content is informational and opinion-based. It does not constitute professional advice, a promise of in-game results, or any official communication from the title.

3. Intellectual property

Original texts, layout, visual identity, and editorial organization of the Codex belong to the Scaryel Codex project, unless otherwise indicated.

Throne & Liberty, the names of mechanics, characters, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. The Codex does not use the game’s protected official logos, icons, or artwork.

You may share links to Codex articles. Full reproduction or republication of the content without prior authorization is not permitted.

4. Permitted use and prohibited conduct

You may browse, read articles, use the internal search, and share URLs for personal, non-commercial purposes.

• Do not attempt to compromise the security, availability, or integrity of the site.
• Do not use bots, aggressive scrapers, or automation that overloads the infrastructure.
• Do not impersonate the Codex, the @Scaryel channel, or official representatives of the game.
• Do not publish, through any channel linked to the site, content that is illegal, discriminatory, or that violates the rights of third parties.

5. Third-party links and services

The Codex may link to or embed content from YouTube, Twitch, Discord, and other external services. Those environments have their own terms and policies, for which the Codex is not responsible.

The presence of a link does not imply a permanent endorsement of the external destination.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is offered “as is,” without warranties of continuous availability, absence of errors, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Information about patches, meta, and events may become outdated after new game updates. Confirm critical data against the official sources when necessary.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Codex and its maintainers are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or losses arising from the use of or inability to use the site.

These terms may be updated to reflect legal, technical, or editorial changes. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
