The transition calendar
SystemThe warning came in August. Now the dates have arrived. Amazon Game Studios is handing over the Western operation of Throne and Liberty to NC, which takes over publishing the game directly through its subsidiary FirstSpark Games.
Three dates matter here, and they don't line up with the urgency order they seem to suggest. The first one that affects you is October 26. The one with no undo is October 30.

The date with no forgiveness is October 30
⟡ Heads upThe opt-out is irreversible in consequence: characters, progression, and inventory do not carry over. Anyone who opts out and later wants to play under NC starts from zero. Doing nothing is the safe option — the standard migration happens on its own.
What happens on November 10
SystemDuring the maintenance window, the game goes offline. On the other side, NC brings the service back up and you log in again — accept the new Terms and Policies and continue in Solisium exactly where you left off.
Characters, items, currency, and progression carry over intact. What changes is who operates it, who provides support, and under which terms.
⟡ What does NOT change
- Your account, characters, progression, and inventory
- Your platform — Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox, the same accounts as always
- Access to the game and to your game data
- Cross-Play between platforms stays the same
- All regions and realms stay available
- Play and purchase history preserved
⟡ What changes
- The game's publisher — AGS is out, NC is in
- The customer support provider and the support channels
- The support policies
- The live operations team
- The Terms and Policies — every player will have to accept NC's new ones
- The Japan, Oceania region gets renamed to Asia, Oceania
Auction House and economy
SystemThe Auction House closes on October 26 and only reopens once NC's operation is live. The reason is accounting: reconciling active listings and pending payments so items and Lucent arrive clean on the other side.
You can complete or cancel listings before 10/26, but there's no need to rush — whatever's left will be processed during the October 26 maintenance itself.

Empty your Storage Chest before the 10th
⟡ Heads upThe official recommendation is to claim everything sitting in your Storage Chest from shop purchases, Twitch Drops rewards, and Xbox Game Pass / PlayStation Plus perks before the 11/10 maintenance. Anything left unclaimed will be automatically claimed and delivered via in-game mail. Unclaimed mail is also preserved and can be collected after the migration.
Opt-out — the price of leaving
SystemThere's an option to not transfer your data. It's official, it's legitimate, and it costs everything you've built.
The request window runs through October 30, via the AGS support form. Anyone who does nothing has their data migrated normally — that's the default path, and it's what AGS itself recommends.

Duplicate names — who keeps theirs
SystemMerging two services into a unified environment creates name collisions. The tiebreak rule is already published, and it's not based on creation date — it's based on account merit.
Whoever loses the name gets compensation, but also gets a random name until they use the ticket.

PURPLE, Xbox, and cross-progression
SystemNC brings its own launcher. PURPLE arrives as a new entry point, and players on every platform stay in the same environment — but shared progression has a limit.
On the Xbox side, there's a mandatory app switch. Anyone who doesn't install the new one doesn't play.

Support and content after the switch
SystemThe least glamorous part of the announcement is the one that will sting the most on the 11th: support tickets don't transfer. If you have something open with AGS, settle it beforehand.
Content, on the other hand, doesn't stop. Updates and fixes keep coming through regular maintenance — with one scheduling caveat.

⟡ Creator's voice“The headline is November 10, but the date that decides your life is October 30 — and almost nobody is going to read that far. The opt-out isn't some harmless privacy button: it's the delete-account button, and it drags your guild down with it. If your leader vanished from the game and clicks that out of obligation, leadership falls to automatic succession and nobody tells the guild. What I'd do this week: confirm your AGID is active and linked, empty your Storage Chest, close any open support ticket with AGS, and check the Combat Power of whoever shares your name on the Korean side. That last one is the one that's going to cause tears on the 11th.”

The Auction House closes on October 26: anyone relying on selling for Lucent to fund their build needs to move those sales up.
