CHAPTER 01

Sealing battlefield — Fortress of Bitter Frost

PvP

The battlefield gets a brand-new mode: Sealing (봉인전), at the Fortress of Bitter Frost (혹한의 서리 요새). It's 12 vs 12, but the logic changes completely: instead of kill for kill, you carry a relic to the enemy altar and seal it.

Whoever seals twice first takes the match. The game lasts 10 minutes and, if nobody closes it out, goes into 5 minutes of overtime. Alongside come two new Disruptors (교란자) — agents of chaos that upend the map in the middle of the race for the relic.

CHAPTER 02

New PvE — Frostbreath Cave and Arch Boss raids

Dungeon

The Challenge Dimension gets the Frostbreath Cave (서리 숨결 동굴). Alongside it, four new guild raids on Arch Bosses (광성) open up.

Playing with a new or returning character is now worth more: clearing a co-op dungeon or raid alongside them drops extra reward in the boss chest.

  • New co-op dungeon achievements at the Temple of the Final Flame (종염의 사원) and the Frostbreath Cave.
CHAPTER 03

Weapon rebalance

Buff

The axis of the balancing was reining in excess: damage stacking and shield stacking no longer scale out of control, and strike and bonus-damage values were readjusted weapon by weapon.

Two changes shift rotations: the Spear gains the new Shock state (쇠약: 감전) and the Gauntlet gets a rework to Blood Feast (혈식). Below are the highlights; the full list, with every weapon-by-weapon scaling table, is in the expandable block.

Spear — Shock (쇠약: 감전)

  • Gauntlet (권갑) — [Ventius's Golden Gauntlet] (벤티우스 황금 권갑, Mirror Boutique): fixed the effect and sound that weren't playing on the basic gauntlet/claw attack.
  • GauntletExplosive Combo (폭발연타): fixed the bug that allowed reapplying the effect when using the skill in certain situations with spec. 3 [Stun] active.
  • GauntletOne-Inch Punch (일촌타): added per-level damage amplification on monsters.
  • One-Inch Punch — scale (monster damage): Heroic 1 48% · 2 56% · 3 64% · 4 72% · 5 80%; Legendary 1 to 5 80%.
  • GauntletBlood Gale (혈풍) spec. 4 [Additional Use]: fixed the number of targets Blood Claw could hit in the area.
  • GauntletBlood Feast (혈식): fixed the immediate cancellation of the effect when pressing the button repeatedly — a 1s limit so the Appease skill doesn't fire right away.
  • GauntletBlood Feast (effect, Legendary 5 base): keeps +20.5% damage while it lasts and +100% on Scratch's base damage; now reduces incoming mitigation by 160 and increases bonus damage by 160; the off-hand weapon proc doesn't work and the block chance now operates as an off-hand chance; consumes 8 stamina/s (ends when it reaches 0); defense skills cost -20 stamina; on ending, a 1s cooldown.

  • Integrated SpecializationBloodlust (피의 욕망), reworked: it used to consume 4% mana/s and, every 5s, guaranteed a strike on bosses and +50 crit on bosses (max 3 stacks); now it consumes 12% mana on attacking or being hit, guarantees a strike on bosses and +150 crit on bosses, with a 5s re-activation limit.
CHAPTER 04

Unique gear and Skill Cores become item options

System

Structural change: the Skill Core effect that lived on unique armor and accessories now comes in as a fixed stat on the equipment itself, and the corresponding core is removed from the game.

In practice, you no longer spend a core slot to have the effect — it already comes on the item. Anyone who had the removed cores gets a refund. Several specific items were also readjusted or fixed.

  • Removed Skill Cores: Rampart of the Black Wings (검은 날개의 방벽) and Power of the Black Wings (검은 날개의 권능) leave the raid rewards and the exchange merchant.
  • Refund: each core owned yields 20 Chaos Soul Stone: Kalancia; a core already dissolved yields 17 retroactively; a destroyed core gives no refund.
  • Pants of Cunning Sorcery (묘수의 사술 바지): fixed the Max Stamina value applied incorrectly (Lv51 160→13, Lv80 305→25).
  • Dekman's Arch Staff (데크만의 광성봉): fixed so that the Corruption Magic Circle effect is applied.
  • Precision Sniper Bow of the North Wind's Roar (북풍의 포효 저격궁): stunned targets no longer accumulate Rock; detailed description — Bombardment Arrow becomes Rock Arrow, drops 16 arrows dealing 128% +14 area damage and stuns for 3s every 4 hits; with spec. 2 [Area Increase], it rises to 24 arrows.
  • Frostflame Longbow (냉기의 홍염장궁) and Frost Comet Longbow (냉기의 혜성장궁): fixed the wrong description of Cry of PurificationTouch of Purification becomes Cry of Purification, cleanses ally states within a 3m radius, with a 27s cooldown and 260 mana.

Anyone who owned each one receives 20 Chaos Soul Stone: Kalancia. Cores already dissolved yield 17 retroactively; destroyed cores give no refund. The crafting recipes that use Skill Core as a material are back — but the result does not receive a potential stat.
CHAPTER 05

Economy — relief on Trait and Resonance growth

System

The biggest relief of the patch is in progression. The dev admitted that, after T3, the cost of Trait and Resonance became a real bottleneck — and cut deep into the required materials and Solant rates. Everything spent before the patch is refunded by the difference, via mail.

  • Arch weapon (crafting): no potential option is applied when crafting; the potentials of already-crafted Arch equipment are removed and all the material used is refunded.
  • As per the earlier notice about Arch Boss weapons, the potentials gained by repeatedly farming an Arch weapon with Skill Core are removed in bulk.
  • All material and Solant spent before the patch are refunded by the difference, via mail.
CHAPTER 06

Sealing Key and Skill Core sources

System

The Sealing Key was created to preserve the value of top-end gear and keep market prices from crashing — but the supply got too tight and choked trade. This patch is the first step of a fix: new acquisition sources, starting with the Honor Coin shop.

Alongside, the skill core gets new points of acquisition and choice recipes.

CHAPTER 07

Quality of life and systems

System

The convenience round is large and targets the day-to-day: more flexible Material Conversion, Guild Distribution with a level filter, an item tooltip on toggle, and the gear level now visible on the character sheet. The full list is in the expandable block.

  • Material Conversion: equipment with a reinforced trait can now be converted.
  • Material Conversion: when inserting in batch, a level filter lets you include items at or below the chosen level.

  • Movement — Herba: portals to the Wind Carriage Station, Abundance Street, and Hammer Sound Street.
  • Movement — Nix: the Star Lighthouse teleport now lands on top of the lighthouse, not on the ground (icon changed).
  • Mirror Boutique: switching category no longer clears the search result — it re-filters within the new category; changing the top tab (possession or weapon/armor) still clears it.
  • Dimension: the dungeon list is now ordered by combat power (applies to co-op dungeon, group board, and matchmaking).
  • Settings: the matchmaking confirmation alert sound is now configurable (Settings → Content → Matchmaking alert; off / sound 1 / sound 2, including in the background).
  • Trait Resonance: a confirmation popup when pressing the trait conversion button.
  • [Nix] Tumgir Vault (툼기르 수장고): became a hunting area that consumes Abyss Point, with the number of monsters increased.
CHAPTER 08

Fixes — story, Nix, and events

Fix

The content-fix round is enormous. From the Adventure Codex to Nix's sudden events — including a wrong answer in the Talking Wall quiz and a heavy nerf to the Baba Yaga of the Witch's Cauldron. The full list is in the expandable block.

  • Adventure Codex — 3rd act, acts 1/2/5: fixed wrong progress text inside instance spaces.
  • Codex — 3-2 (Another Kursl): added reinforcement lines after the Space-Time Ring cutscene at the Wind Hill coast lighthouse; lines from Domur and Bimerts at the Purification Tower; the player's line when talking to Richard was made more natural; the entry cutscene into the Forbidden Book dimension was reinforced; an extra NPC was placed at the Purification Tower.
  • Codex — 3-3 (The Spreading Red Fog): fixed the cutscene that displayed twice in the New Swamp Cave; Theodor's line made natural; the warning on leaving the Seal Sanctuary (upper/lower) detailed.
  • Codex — 3-4 (Wings Beyond the Dimension): fixed the cutscene skip that froze progress in The Resistance's Secret Weapon; fixed the case of stepping off the elevator in the middle of Aetherion's Departure freezing progress.
  • Codex — 3-5 (Snowfield of the Dog and the Wolf): entry cutscene into the Land of the Snowy Night reinforced; Iska's wild transformation cutscene fixed; Iska's lines adjusted; the levels of the Snow Gorilla, Blue-Eyed Hunter, and Snow Leopard NPCs changed; the Sword of the Border District cutscene reinforced.
  • Codex — 3-6 (Frozen Land Tinged Red): the Shermir Tower cutscene reinforced; guide text that didn't match the step fixed; fixed the code images swapped between the Shermir Tower and the Fallen Zenith; fixed the case of NPCs (like Da Vinci in Aetherion/Border District) not speaking when completing the act.
  • Exploration Codex: the hint text for elite-mob kill items was corrected for the current context.

On Skill Cores there's a visual-only tooltip issue: the monster damage amplification shows up too high on Thundercloud Explosion, Ice Explosion, Nightmare Melody, and Nightmare Concerto (it will be removed from the display later), and shows up summed on Torrent and Eye of Ventius (it will be fixed to display separately). This patch does two things at once that usually come apart: it rewrites PvP and it cheapens the endgame. The Sealing battlefield rewards objective coordination over pure teamfight — organized guilds will love it, random matchmaking will suffer in the first weeks. But what changes life for most players isn't the new mode: it's the up-to-80% cut to the Solant rate. Anyone stuck at the Resonance bottleneck just got months of progress back. And the detail easy to miss in the middle of the giant note: Longbow and Dagger DoT now ignores shield — that quietly shifts the sustain balance in PvP, more than any number in the weapon table.
