CHAPTER 01

Expedition and Transcendence — bosses take the first hit

PvE

The notes open with the week's most consequential call: Expedition and Transcendence bosses get weaker. This isn't a tweak to one specific fight — it's the boss attribute being cut across every difficulty tier.

The official read is clear: lower-progression characters were dying in a single hit, and groups were running out the clock. The patch touches Attack, Damage Increase, and HP — each one in the tier where the problem showed up.

  • General balance: boss balance will be adjusted in Expedition and Transcendence content. Boss attributes will be reduced to make encounters more manageable, lowering the risk of characters dying to high boss damage or failing to defeat it within the time limit.
  • 1. Expedition Normal and Transcendence Stage 1 — the boss's Attack will be reduced by 15%. The adjustment helps prevent lower-progression characters from being defeated by a single powerful hit, letting them fight more reliably.
  • 2. Expedition Hard and Transcendence Stages 2–4 — the boss's Attack and Damage Increase will each be reduced by 10%, relative to previous values. The adjustment lowers the risk of the character being defeated too early as Damage Increase climbs in the higher stages, giving more room to react to the boss's hits.
  • 3. Transcendence Stages 1–2 — the boss's HP will be reduced by 6.5%. The adjustment lowers the chance of the boss entering Frenzy in long fights and causing failed attempts, letting more players clear the content.

⟡ The Attack cut and the classes' base HP are the same fix

⟡ Attention
The notes tie the two together explicitly: the boss hits 15% softer in Normal and melee classes gain base HP. It's a two-front survival fix, not two separate patches. Whoever used to die in one hit now gets two.
CHAPTER 02

Hard mode arrives in Urugugu Canyon and Vakron Sky Island

Dungeon

Two new dungeons join the Hard rotation: Urugugu Canyon and Vakron Sky Island. The gate is 2,700 Item Level — a hundred points above what Krao and Draupnir asked for last week.

The pacing rules are the same as the previous Hard mode: boss Frenzy at 4 minutes and 3 resurrections per player. A group that loses people early has no way to recover within the clock.

Ariel Fragment, Material Conversion, and the Fury Uniques

System

The Ariel Fragment is still the currency for the Daevanion board opened last week — and now it gets two conversion routes with very different caps.

The Daevanion Crystal: Ariel route is expensive and limited. The Enhancement Stone route is cheap and has no limit, which turns surplus fragments into an infinite enhancement resource.

CHAPTER 04

Base HP at level 45 — all eight classes go up

Buff

The second half of the survival adjustment is here. All eight classes move up from 4,702 base HP at level 45. Gladiator and Templar gain 1,500; the other six gain 1,000.

The notes justify it through melee: with boss Attack cut and base HP higher, melee classes can face the boss head-on without dropping to the first hit. But the buff is universal — nobody's left out.

CHAPTER 05

CHAPTER 15

Improvements — gathering gets a cap, a fuller Abyss, and the end of the three-hour AFK

System

The improvements section is the notes' most aggressive. Three lines target botting and account abuse: the gathering cap, the gathering minimum level, and the character deletion waiting period. Five others touch game pacing and the Abyss Lower Floor.

Daily gathering limit

Per server, resets every day
▼ 1,000 gathers/day
A limit will be added to how many times you can gather resources: 1,000 per day, per server. The limit resets daily at 12:00 AM (PDT) / 8:00 AM (CET). The notes warn the number may be adjusted in the future.

Hidden Cube spawn rate

Open world
▲ More frequent
Hidden Cubes now spawn more frequently.

Abyss entry limits

Capacity per instance
▲ More players
Abyss entry limits will be increased to allow more players in.

Dimensional Core HP

Abyss Lower Floor
▲ More HP
The HP of the Dimensional Core in the Abyss Lower Floor will be increased — meaning it takes longer to bring down.

Power Dissipation

New debuff on the Dimensional Core
▲ After 10 minutes
The Power Dissipation debuff will be added to the Abyss Lower Floor's Dimensional Core. If an Artifact Battle lasts 10 minutes or longer, the debuff is applied and weakens the Dimensional Core.

⟡ Gathering: three brakes at once

⟡ Attention
1,000 gathers per day per server, level 45 as the access floor, and 7 days to delete a character. The three lines target the same thing — automated resource farming — but the level-45 one also shuts the gathering door on any legitimate new character.
CHAPTER 16

Fixes, server transfer, and compensation

Fix

The notes close with six fixes, the teardown of what's left of the server transfer, and three lines of compensation. The most relevant fix is the resurrection count in Hard mode — a bug that cost whole attempts.

Resurrection count in Expedition (Hard)

Content fix
⚙ Fix
Fixed the issue where the resurrection count occasionally didn't reset when repeating the Expedition (Hard) Dungeon.

Server Transfer tab

Shop
⚙ Removed
The Server Transfer tab will be removed from the shop.

Supply Requests with Balaur's Sweet Berry

Transfer content
⚙ Removed
Supply Requests that required Balaur's Sweet Berry will be removed.

Ariel and Azphel Daevanion in the Progression window

Interface fix
⚙ Fix
Fixed the issue where the Ariel and Azphel Daevanion appeared in swapped positions in the Character Progression summary window.

Invisible characters in PvP

Client fix
⚙ Fix
Fixed the issue where some characters turned invisible during PvP.

Season Quests stuck after the boss

Content fix
⚙ Fix
Fixed the issue that blocked progress on certain Season Quests after defeating the required boss.

Item recovery and compensation schedule

Compensation
⚙ Pending
The schedule for item recovery and compensation will be announced after the server transfer period ends.

Entry passes not reset in Europe on October 25

Compensation
▲ Will be granted
Content entry passes that weren't reset as expected in the EU region on October 25 will be granted.

Attendance rewards claimed in duplicate

Compensation
▼ Will be reclaimed
Any Attendance rewards claimed more than once because of a server transfer will be reclaimed.

⟡ Creator's voice
“This week's headline looks like Hard mode, but the patch that's going to change your night is the other one. Boss hitting 15% softer combined with +1,000 to +1,500 base HP isn't a fine-tune — it's NCSoft admitting that Normal's difficulty floor was calibrated for people who already had gear. The detail almost nobody's going to notice: for the first time, Gladiator and Templar open a 500 HP lead over the other six classes in a base attribute. The game stopped pretending everyone's equal on the front line, and that matters more for group meta over the next few months than any Ariel Fragment.”

What changes in practice

Instant Completion Ticket purchase limits are now per server, per week — 14 units at 30,000 Kinah. Alts no longer multiply the stock.

For guilds
The Crafted Amplification cap rising to 5 and the Expedition → Crafted Transfer open a gear route that doesn't depend on drops — plan out who in the guild crafts and who transfers before burning materials.
For solo PvP
The Abyss accepts more people, the Dimensional Core has more HP, and the Power Dissipation debuff kicks in after 10 minutes of Artifact Battle. Long fights now favor whoever's attacking, not whoever's holding.
For casual players
You're the patch's target: a softer-hitting boss and higher base HP solve exactly the one-hit death problem in Normal. But watch out for level 45 becoming the Gathering floor — new characters lost that income source.
