Two fortresses and five territories northwest of Tolland. Etherion in the sky, Frontier Hold beneath the ground.
End of enhancement
Enhancement, transfer and integration removed. Gear now has an item level — the number is what counts.
Nix's Remains

Gauntlet
New 3rd weapon. Gauntlet mode holds the line, blood mode turns the tide. 45 weapon combinations in total.
Level 60
Cap rises to 60, skill up to 110 and specialization up to 220.
25 unexpected events
Start any time, no scheduled queue. Main reward: the Red Frost Item.
The Nix domain — two bases, five territories
SystemNix lies northwest of Tolland and is, in the PD's words, completely different from Laslan, Petrearda and Tolland. Barren land where no one lives, swept by constant snowstorms. Because it is too hostile, it became a neutral zone — neither the Arkeum Legion nor the challenger troop managed to set foot there.
The structure is new to TL: two fortresses and five territories. The central bases of this update are Etherion and Frontier Hold — and they look like nothing the game has shown before.

Traversal — Sky Wedge and Mirinae
SystemNix is a continent as vast as Laslan, Petrearda or Tolland — and it got its own means of transport. Going on foot won't cut it.
The game-changer: Nix has no teleport spots, except in a few bases. Movement happens through the sky.

Sky Wedge
Mirinae

No teleport changes the map's rhythm
⟡ Tactical readRemoving teleport and tying traversal to the Mirinae and the Sky Wedge means position matters again. Whoever masters the sky routes arrives first at events and bosses — and, in Nix PvP, the Mirinae becomes a maneuver tool.
Life in Nix — solo dungeon, unexpected events and Red Frost
PvENix has features no other domain has. The first: there is no group abyssal dungeon here. In its place, the Solo Dungeon: Tómrig Ruins, at the entrance of the Tumgir Historic Site — content tailored at any hour, with a time limit for valuable rewards.
The second: the unexpected event. No more fixed-schedule queue — you start and join with your allies whenever you like. In the Nix Lair, boss invasions of difficulty 20 or higher also appear.

⟡ Red Frost Item
- Main reward of Nix
- Obtained by progressing through the unexpected events
- Higher Grade versions drop in Nix's Remains
- Comes out unappraised — requires purification before use
⟡ Frozen Order
- Exclusive item, sold only at Frontier Hold
- Attack, defense, support effects and toys
- Foundation for varied strategies, including in PvP
- Recommended by the PD himself

Adventure Codex Part 3 and level 60
SystemThe new land calls for a new story. Here comes the Adventure Codex Part 3, "Snow White's Frozen", covering the Frozen Tundra of the Snow Wall.
What happened to Clay and Iska, who set out for Nix at the request of Tolland's Zenith? It's the narrative hook of the expansion — and the stage where your character evolves to another tier.

The great item system overhaul
SystemThis is the change with the biggest impact on your gameplay, in the PD's words. The splits into detailed grades (Hero Grade 1, Grade 2…) leave the stage, and two concepts come in: the item rarity integration and the item level system.
Now the item is expressed by item level, not enhancement level. The higher the number, the more powerful the gear — no complicated math.
The overhaul in practice — from item level to sealing and traits. Click to see each screen in detail.

Grades & Levels
Before: detailed grades (Epic III · Lv.12) added to enhancement. Now: a single Item Level (48) that shows the piece's real power.

Resealing
Seal the gear to trade using the Seal Key — a key that opens the hidden seal circuits. Note: the inheritance counter resets when you reseal.

Sealed item & sets
Sealed items scale from level 51 to 80 as the character progresses and activate set bonuses (e.g. Nix Plate Tank Set).

Traits — unlock
Choose the desired trait (Max HP, Evasion, Cooldown…) and unlock it with the Unlock Stone. Up to 3 per piece.

Traits — upgrade
Raise the trait's tier (150 → 300) with the Enchantment Stone, accumulating growth EXP.

Inheritance & Succession
Transfer became succession: transfer the item level (e.g. 21 → 25) between pieces of the same category. The successor gear is consumed in the process.
Enhancement, transfer and integration

Why this rewrites the early/mid game
⟡ BR readThe step that kept new travelers away from veterans was the expensive enhancement and the subitems that lost value fast. Removing enhancement/transfer/integration and tying everything to the item level lowers that barrier all at once. The fun goes back to hunting and acquiring, not decoding a stat.
Nix's Remains — the battlefield of the strong
PvP
The PvP highlight. Nix's Remains is a cross-server PvP space like the Nebula Islands, but it runs on a session system — channels created based on the number of people. You enter at any time, but once the session is created, it takes no one else after a certain point.
The big difference: you play in elite teams of 1 to 4 players, not Guilds. Elite monsters and chests do not respawn once killed — it's fierce competition over a limited resource.
Within a rift in the extreme cold, a mirror of Nix opened — a battlefield apart, identical to the domain, but reserved for the strong.
A relentless survival competition for the greatest prizes. Prove your limits, adventurer: only the winner walks away with the loot in hand.

Red Frost Item
Purify the Red Frost item after obtaining it.
Gain overwhelming power like never before.

Purification Sanctuary
Outsmart your enemies and enter the Purification Sanctuary.
This is where the true potential of Red Frost items is unleashed.
Escape Port
Locate and activate the escape capsules scattered across Nix's residual territories.
Use the escape portal to reach a safe zone.
Bush
On entering the bushes, the character goes immediately into stealth mode.
Escape danger or set up an ambush to turn the battle in an instant.

Red Frost Gear
Unidentified Red Frost item — sealed by Shermir with the Red Frost Curse. Its true form is only revealed after purification.

Purification at the sanctuary
At the Purification Sanctuary, purify the Red Frost item spending Purification Points and Sollant. Control your character to interrupt if needed.

Map — escape ports
The escape ports are scattered across Nix's residual territories; activate one to extract with the loot. The bushes along the way hide you.

Safe Pouch
Safe Pouch (Safe Inventory): register an unpurified item here to protect it in case of death. The space is very limited — reserve it for the most valuable loot.

Powerful boss
Mirinae enters PvP too
⟡ AttentionA penalty reduces physical resistance through the constant heavy snow. And the Mirinae activates a certain time after you enter — grabbing it lets you cross the field fast and shake up the war. Mind games around the escape point, bush ambushes and Mirinae maneuvers: unpredictable at every moment.
Gauntlet — the new melee weapon
BuildGauntlet — class opening video
TL's third new weapon. The Gauntlet maximizes melee combat with heavy blows, and fills a tank role — collision effects, stun and a huge threat that draws all attacks to itself.
The wonder is in the mode switch. In Gauntlet Mode, stable entry and connection. In Blood Mode, the style shifts 180° — dense, aggressive attacking for a short window. Here are the main skills of each mode:
Mobility Strike
Advances in proportion to the charge time, stopping targets along the path and dealing damage.
Off-hand weapon mechanic
Shield defense chance
Weapon combinations

New systems — cores, runes and skills
SystemThe update goes far beyond the domain and the new weapon. Nix brings a pack of new systems for combat, progression and life to deepen your character.

Frozen Spellbook
Discover exclusive items available only in Nix.
They offer ways to have fun beyond combat, making the domain experience even richer.

Skill Cores — Armor and Accessories
Build your exclusive setup with Skill Enhancement Cores — which evolve existing skills into completely new forms — and Cores that reinforce stats.

New active skills per weapon
New active skills for each weapon arrive alongside the level 60 expansion.
Acquire powers worthy of the new cap and live the growth of an even stronger character.

Armor runes
A new armor rune system to hold back Nix's even more powerful threat.
Engrave runes on your armor to complete the character — more sophisticated and powerful.

Core Gallery — dozens of variations
Dozens of Skill Cores — from stat increases to triggered passives and full skill transformations. Obtained by exploring Nix and various content.

Engrave the Core (Imprint)
Engrave a core on the piece (e.g. Skill Core: Target Lock) to transform the skill. Costs Sollant and a scroll.

Core in action
A core changes the skill completely — range, area and behavior — not just the numbers.

Skill linking (Skill Chains)
Set up a sequence of skills that fires in order with one key — e.g. Mobility Strike → Chain Strike → Earthquake → Critical → One-Inch Punch. Only works with skills on the hotbar.

Skill chaining in action
With chaining active, the next skill in the sequence appears as a button next to the character during combat — just trigger it to continue the combo without opening menus.
More content — the Nix roadmap
EventThe update brings two co-op dungeons — Frostbreath Cave and Stone Grave Cradle — and two Field Bosses: Porfos and the White-Shoulder Thuban, the giant gorilla that freezes everything around it. Tolland's Field Bosses return Ascended.
But the Nix roadmap goes far beyond launch — new content every month.

New Field Elites
Five new Field Elites arrive in Nix (besides 40 types reused from Petrearda, Laslan and Tolland), spawning across the field with strong rewards.

Character Boost — level 55
Use the progression boost and go straight to level 55, with basic items to face Nix.

Choose the starting weapon
The boost lets you choose the starting weapon — Gauntlet included — and everything can be swapped later.

Ready for Nix content
The character arrives geared and with end-game stats, ready for the main content.

⟡ Creator's voice“There are expansion reveals that are just a new map with a taller trophy. This isn't one of them. The heart of the presentation isn't Nix or the Gauntlet — it's retiring enhancement. Swapping enhancement/transfer/integration for item level is the biggest structural change TL has ever made in the west, and it hits straight at what drove new players away. If succession and traits deliver what the PD promised, we enter an era where build is a choice, not a material queue. Nix's Remains, on the other hand, is the risky bet: session-based extraction with purification and a limited safe pouch is genuinely tense — but extraction in an MMORPG either hooks you or empties out fast. I'll want to see how the Mirinae and the bushes hold the balance. And the Gauntlet with mode switching is the most interesting combat thing the game has attempted; everything depends on how it lives alongside Sword+Shield in PvP.”
