The Founder Pack breaks out of its cage

The loudest complaint since launch was always the same: the Founder Pack stayed locked to the first character that opened the box. Players who picked the wrong server, or who decided to restart with another class, watched their paid cosmetic sit on an account they no longer played.

That ends with this maintenance. Cosmetics, titles, and other Founder Pack items can now be used on other characters and other servers.

CHAPTER 02

The free exclusive shop

System

Along with the unlock comes an exclusive shop where Founder Pack items you haven't obtained yet can be claimed for free, matching the category of the pack you bought.

It stays open for every character on every server and only closes once NCSoft publishes a closing notice. No countdown has been announced.

CHAPTER 03

Material Conversion gets a weekly cap

The Material Conversion formula that turns Sealed Wings into Enhancement Stones was the widest-open faucet in the progression economy. This week it gets metered.

The limit is 20 Conversions per week, per server — counted per server, not per character. Anyone using alts to multiply conversions loses the loophole.

Raw Leather gets more generous on three fronts

Breeze Association: Spirit Stone for Kinah

“Freeing the Founder Pack from the character cage is the most important policy fix NCSoft could make at this stage — and they still opened a free shop for anyone who already paid and came up short. That's respect for the people who backed the launch. On the other side, the cap of 20 Conversions per server this week is a clear signal: the Enhancement Stone economy was bleeding out through that drain. The Raw Leather increase in Chaotic Reshanta, Verteron, and Altgard softens the heavy hand a little. The notes are small, but they're entirely about economy — and economy is what decides whether an MMO survives its third month.”
